The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in warm collaboration with Barak Para Games, celebrated World Disability Day at DSA as a soulful tribute to strength, dignity, and boundless human spirit. The day came alive with thrilling cricket and chess matches and an inspiring wheelchair race, where our divyang brothers and sisters shone with courage, skill, and determination. The evening unfolded into a mesmerizing cultural programme at Madyasahar Sanskriti Sanstha, where the heartfelt performances of divyang children moved every soul present. The joy doubled with a cheerful prize distribution, thoughtfully supported by our Rotary pillars—IPP Rtn. Joyjit Biswas and President Nominee Rtn. Manoj Jain (Jr.), who generously sponsored the event. The presentation of a hearing aid to a beneficiary added a deeply touching moment, reminding all that Rotary’s true mission lies in compassion, inclusion, and Service Above Self.
