At the initiative of the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, with the active support of Jankalyan Unnayan Sangstha and Netaji Chatra Yuba Sangstha, a graceful commemorative program was held at Uttar Krishnapur village on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The presence of Rotary RCC members, representatives of the organizing bodies, and respected local citizens reflected deep community unity and reverence for Netaji’s ideals. Marking the occasion, an eight-team tennis-ball seven-a-side cricket tournament was ceremonially inaugurated, highlighting the power of sports in nurturing discipline, teamwork, and positive values among youth. The program beautifully blended patriotism, social awareness, and youth engagement, offering a heartfelt tribute to the timeless legacy of Netaji.
