On 2nd January 2026, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with NCC, NIT Silchar, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp at the NIT Silchar campus, where compassion and responsibility came together in a powerful expression of service. The campus was filled with the selfless enthusiasm of NCC cadets, students, and volunteers who stepped forward with smiling faces and generous hearts to donate blood—the purest gift of life. Each unit collected symbolized hope, care, and an unspoken promise to save lives beyond recognition. The disciplined support of the NCC and the humanitarian spirit of Rotary created an inspiring atmosphere truly reflecting the essence of “Service Above Self,” culminating in the collection of 22 units of blood and reaffirming Rotary’s steadfast commitment to humanity and community welfare.
