Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with the Rotaract Club of Greater Silchar Royals, successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp at NIT Silchar, exemplifying the true spirit of service and humanity. The camp witnessed an encouraging and voluntary response from donors, resulting in the collection of 31 units of blood, each unit symbolising a precious gift of life. The programme was further enriched by the inspiring participation of two Rotarians, who themselves donated blood, setting a commendable example of leadership through action. The initiative reflected Rotary’s enduring commitment to community welfare, compassion, and social responsibility, while fostering awareness about the vital importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.
