On the occasion of Vocational Month, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with Netaji Chatra Yuba Sangstha, successfully organised a Candle and Soap Making Training Programme at Silcoore Camp, Silchar, with the noble aim of empowering the community through skill development. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local beneficiaries, who were trained in practical techniques of candle and soap making, opening doors to self-employment and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Guided by experienced trainers and supported by dedicated Rotarians, the initiative reflected Rotary’s strong commitment to vocational excellence, self-reliance, and inclusive growth, spreading hope, confidence, and the spirit of dignity through work among the participants.
