The DG Official Visit of the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, held on 30th January 2026 at the Club Building, was a proud and inspiring milestone for the club. A day earlier, DG Sir was warmly received at the airport with traditional Uttoriyo and flowers by Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, Past President Rtn. Mulchand Baid, Sergeant-at-Arms Rtn. Rohan Yadav, and Rtn. Biswadeep Ghosh, reflecting true Rotary fellowship and hospitality. The official meeting was gracefully conducted, featuring meaningful interaction, presentation of club achievements and future plans, and an encouraging address by DG Sir, complemented by appreciation from AG Sir. The club also observed Martyrs’ Day with a floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Notably, a Global Grant proposal was positively endorsed, and valuable guidance was shared through checklist verification and a training session, making the visit enriching and memorable.
