On the occasion of National Road Safety Month–2026, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in collaboration with Jubo Darpan (Rotary Community Corps – RCC), successfully organised an Online Road Safety Poster Competition with the aim of promoting awareness and responsible behaviour on the roads. Open to students of all age groups and conducted entirely in online mode, the competition received enthusiastic participation, with creative posters submitted through WhatsApp. A total of 41 students showcased their talent and social consciousness by vividly portraying vital road safety messages such as strict adherence to traffic rules, use of helmets, maintaining safe speed, and ensuring pedestrian safety. The initiative not only encouraged artistic expression but also served as a meaningful platform to sensitise young minds and the wider community about the importance of road safety, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to public awareness and community well-being.
