Overview
The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar meaningfully observed Leprosy Day with a powerful awareness campaign aimed at spreading knowledge, compassion, and inclusion. Through an engaging street play, the club effectively conveyed the message that leprosy is curable and that those affected deserve dignity, care, and social acceptance. The programme stood out for its impact and thoughtful execution, made possible by the remarkable initiative and dedication of Past Secretary Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma and our beloved Rotarian Rtn. Biswadeep Ghosh, whose leadership inspired collective action. The event was truly outstanding, reflecting Rotary’s deep commitment to service, awareness, and humanity.
