On the occasion of Rotary Foundation Day and World Peace & Conflict Prevention Day, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar organized a meaningful program on 23rd February at Pheladhor, Mashimpur (Jatinga). A peace rally, covering approximately 1 km, was held to spread the message of unity, harmony, and social awareness, ceremonially flagged off by Assistant Governor of RI District 3240, Rtn. Biswajit Banik. The program was attended by Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb along with Rtn. Raja Bhattacharya, Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma, Rtn. Subhash Ranjan Dhar, Rotaract President Dr. Arpita Deb, Treasurer Dr. Tribeni Haflongbar, and RCC Jubo Darpan Editor Mr. Dilu Das. Around 300 students enthusiastically participated in the rally wearing different colorful costumes, adding vibrant spirit and creativity to the event. The program concluded with the release of peace balloons, symbolizing hope for a peaceful and conflict-free world.
