On the occasion of Rotary Foundation Day, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar organised a Hand Wash Awareness and Demonstration Program at A.C. Memorial High School as part of its commitment to community health and service. The program witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students and teachers, who learned about the importance of proper hand hygiene in preventing diseases and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Past Secretary Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma conducted a practical demonstration, clearly explaining the correct techniques of handwashing and encouraging students to adopt these healthy habits in their daily lives. The initiative was warmly appreciated by the school authorities, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club for spreading awareness and promoting the values of health, hygiene, and service above self.
