Overview
The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar actively participated in a Health Camp for school students at Borkhola, aimed at promoting health awareness and early medical screening among young learners. During the programme, an awareness session on menstrual hygiene was conducted to educate and empower students with essential knowledge about personal health and hygiene. In addition, an eye screening camp was organised to detect vision-related issues at an early stage. A total of 180 students benefited from the initiative. Past Secretary Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma played a vital role in the successful conduct of the camp, contributing her expertise and dedication to the cause. The programme reflected Rotary’s commitment to nurturing healthier and more informed young generations.
