On 13th March 2026, the 4th day of World Rotaract Week, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with the Rotaract Club of Nehru College, organized a meaningful WASH Awareness Programme at Nehru College, Pailapool. Rtn. Raja Bhattacharjee and Rtn. Panna Das demonstrated simple water purification methods, highlighting the importance of safe drinking water. A total of 35 packets of purification medicine were distributed to students and Rotaractors for community outreach. Graced by Rtn. Suhash Dhar, the Principal, and faculty members, the programme reflected Rotary’s commitment to health, awareness, and community service.
