On 14th March 2026, the 5th day of World Rotaract Week and Rotary’s Water Sanitation and Hygiene Month, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with the Rotaract Club of Greater Silchar, organized an awareness programme and distribution of water purification medicine at Borakhai Tea Garden. The initiative promoted safe drinking water and hygienic practices among local residents. Rtn. Raja Bhattacharjee demonstrated the correct use of purification medicine at common water sources, while also highlighting the importance of hand hygiene. This meaningful effort reflected Rotary’s commitment to building a healthier, safer, and more aware community.
