On the occasion of World Health Day, guided by the theme “Together for Health Stands with Science,” the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar organized a compassionate health camp at Sai Astha Apartment, Itkhola, a residential complex comprising nearly 30 families. The initiative focused on promoting awareness and preventive healthcare among elderly residents through free blood pressure and blood sugar screening. During the camp, 5 individuals were found to be highly diabetic and 10 persons hypertensive despite being on medication, highlighting the importance of regular monitoring and early intervention. The programme was meaningfully led by Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, with the active presence of Rtn. Arijit Biswas, Rtn. Shomyojit Biswas, and dedicated Rotaractors, spreading a heartfelt message of care, unity, and community well-being.
