Overview
With a deep sense of responsibility towards public health, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Greater Silchar Royal, organized an awareness programme on malaria, Japanese Encephalitis (JE), and dengue at the SMDCH OPD Complex. As the rainy season approaches, the initiative focused on educating people about the early signs, symptoms, and preventive measures against vector-borne diseases. Medical Officer Dr. Abhijit Deb and Club President Dr. Rajat Deb sensitively guided the gathering, inspiring everyone to remain alert and protected. The programme reflected Rotary’s enduring commitment to service, spreading awareness, care, and hope for a healthier tomorrow.
