On 12th April 2026, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar joyfully celebrated Poila Baisakh and Rongali Bihu, bringing together traditions, culture, and fellowship in a memorable gathering. The programme was gracefully anchored by Past Secretary Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma and led by Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb in the esteemed presence of AG Rtn. Biswajit Banik and his wife, along with respected Rotarians from various clubs. The evening was enriched by beautiful dance performances on Rabindra Sangeet and Bihu by young participants, who were lovingly honoured with awards. Traditional pithas, sweets, snacks, and delicacies added warmth to the celebration, making it a heartfelt occasion of unity, heritage, and joy.
