On 27th April 2026, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar organized a Child Health Camp at Kumber to support underweight children with care and compassion. One Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) child was identified and referred to the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre at Civil Hospital, Silchar. As advised by Paediatrician Dr. Keshab Patikar, protein-rich diet supplements and B-complex syrup were distributed. Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb and Mr. Panna Das were present, making the initiative a meaningful step towards healthier childhoods.
