In a milestone step for community health, the District Health Society(DHS), Cachar and Rotary Club of Greater Silchar have joined hands through an MoU signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar and our Club President. As part of this mission, Rotary has adopted Koomber Village — a place battling high mortality, active TB cases, and child malnutrition. Under the Govt. of India’s PMSMA programme, our club will visit the village every month for screenings, treatments, and health camps, bringing hope, healing, and the promise of a healthier tomorrow.
