🌸 Nurturing the roots of life begins with a mother’s embrace… 🌸 Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with IAP Barak Valley Chapter, launched World Breastfeeding Week 2025 at SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar. The program, held at the Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre, SM Dev Civil Hospital,Silchar, spread warmth and awareness among lactating mothers about the priceless gift of breastfeeding. Doctors and Rotarians together emphasized exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, maternal nutrition, and shared practical guidance through demonstrations and videos. Their heartfelt interactions touched the mothers deeply, reminding all that breastfeeding is not just nourishment—it is love, bonding, and the foundation of a healthy future. As a touching finale, RC Greater Silchar will organise a street play on the concluding day, echoing the message that a mother’s milk is nature’s first vaccine and a child’s strongest protection.
