The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in association with IAP Barak Valley Branch, concluded World Breastfeeding Week (Aug 1–7) with impactful awareness programs across Barak Valley. The closing ceremony at Silchar Civil Hospital, attended by paediatricians and Rotary leaders, stressed the life-saving benefits of exclusive breastfeeding. A street play by Pathikrit Natya Gosthi spread the message simply and effectively. With active participation from doctors, Rotarians, and partners, the initiative reinforced Rotary’s commitment to healthier children, stronger families, and a brighter future.
