The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in collaboration with Peerless Hospital Kolkata, organized a free cardiac care camp at the Pioneer Club auditorium, Barjalenga. Eminent Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon Dr. Ashim Kumar Dey provided consultations, preventive care advice, and raised awareness about heart health. Rotary President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, along with Panna Das and Pioneer Club leaders, felicitated Dr. Dey for his invaluable service. The camp offered BP, ECG, and weight check-ups, supported by members of Peerless Hospital, Netaji Chhatra Yuba Sangstha, and Pioneer Club. Sixty-four participants benefited from the initiative, which highlighted Rotary’s commitment to accessible healthcare and its motto—“Service Above Self.”
