“Teachers are the protein of society.” With this inspiring thought, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar felicitated 115 government school teachers from Cachar district with the Nation Builder Award 2025 at Hotel Barak View Residency, Sadarghat. Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb hailed teachers as the architects of society, while chief guest Dr. Nilendu Dhar of Gurucharan University praised their dedication and stressed the need for digital education in today’s era. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp and the national anthem, followed by felicitation of guests with uttoriyo and mementos. Distinguished Rotarians, including Club Secretary Rtn. Abhijit Paul, Rtn. Mulchand Baid, Rtn. Raja Bhattacharjee, and IPP Rtn. Jayjit Biswas, graced the occasion. In a touching tribute, 115 educators were honoured for shaping young minds with knowledge, values, and compassion—building the foundation of a brighter, technology-driven future.
