Weaving Dreams of Empowerment A new Skill Development Centre, opened by the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar on 29th October 2025 at Borakhai Tea Garden in association with Rotaract Club of Greater Silchar, marks a proud step towards empowerment and self-reliance. The centre was gracefully inaugurated by Past Assistant Governor Rtn. Shankar Deb, in the presence of our Club President and esteemed Rotarians Rtn Mangilalji, Rtn dilipli, Lalitji alongwith Mr. Mithun from Shaksham(NGO) whose support made the occasion truly special. It was heartwarming to witness the jute craft workshop — a humble yet powerful initiative weaving together skills, confidence, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
