The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Nehru College, Pailapool, in collaboration with SAKSHAM South Assam Prant and supported by Rotary Club of Greater Silchar and Rotaract Club of Greater Silchar, organized a graceful Felicitation Ceremony under the FYUG Community Engagement Programme on 11/11/25. Graced by Dr. Lakhsyajeet Gogoi, ACS, Prof. Dr. Gangabhushan, faculty members, and distinguished Rotarians including Rtn. Joyjit Biswas and Rtn. Dr. Rohan Biswas, the event honored seven student teams who conducted a mass community survey across the Lakhipur constituency through random sampling. Their insightful findings on awareness and accessibility of government welfare schemes—such as Nijut Moina, Arunodoi, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Anganwadi services, and the UDID card—were warmly appreciated for beautifully blending academic learning with social responsibility and encouraging students to engage meaningfully with rural realities.
