On the joyous occasion of Children’s Day, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar spread warmth and hope by handing over six months’ essential medicines (first phase) to the Manager, DEIC, Cachar for children in remote areas, bringing meaningful support where it is needed most. The event, graced by RBSK Coordinator Ikbal Bahar Laskar, Dr. B. Nag (In-charge, Urban Health Centre, Silchar), paediatricians, gynaecologists, and doctors from Civil Hospital, witnessed the participation of 67 children from Bikrampur and Dholai BPHC. Sweets and chocolates added to the children’s delight, lighting up their smiles. Past Secretary Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma, Rtn. Shomyojit Biswas, and esteemed Rotarians joined in, making the celebration a short yet soulful moment of love, service, and pure happiness.
