Overview
Rotary Club of Greater Silchar conducted a meaningful Hypertension Screening Camp to promote early detection and awareness of high blood pressure among adults, screening 37 beneficiaries above 40 years of age. Led by Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, with the support of Past Secretary Rtn. Dr. Juri Sharma and dedicated Rotarians, the camp ran smoothly and effectively. The findings revealed 5 individuals already under hypertension medication and 4 newly detected cases, underscoring the vital need for regular health check-ups. Graciously supported by SHAKSHAM, the initiative beautifully reflected Rotary’s commitment to safeguarding community health and fostering a healthier future.
