The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in collaboration with the District AIDS Control Society, Cachar, observed World AIDS Day 2025 with a purposeful convergence of key stakeholders and NGO partners committed to HIV/AIDS prevention and care. Chaired by Rtn. Dr. Rohan Biswas, the programme featured meaningful dialogue among officials, NGO representatives, and community workers, with the presence of Syed Salim Haque (AIDS Control Official), Rtn. Dr. Srihans Sipani, Rtn. Pulok Das, and other dedicated changemakers. The observance culminated in a vibrant public awareness rally, echoing a powerful message of prevention, compassion, and unwavering solidarity with people living with HIV—reaffirming Rotary’s pledge to serve with heart and hope.
