The Rotary Club of Greater Silchar, in warm collaboration with Barak Para Games, observed World Disability Day with a celebration that truly honored ability, courage, and human spirit. Held at DSA, the event came alive with a spirited cricket match, engaging chess competition, and an inspiring wheelchair race—each moment reflecting the determination and talent of our divyang brothers and sisters. The joy continued into the evening at Madyasahar Sanskriti Sanstha, where divyang children moved the audience with soulful cultural performances that touched hearts and inspired minds. The celebration concluded with a cheerful prize distribution ceremony, graciously supported by IPP Rtn. Joyjit Biswas and President Nominee Rtn. Manoj Jain (Jr.), whose generosity made the programme memorable. The presentation of a hearing aid to a beneficiary added a deeply meaningful touch, beautifully reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to compassion, inclusion, and Service Above Self.
