On 9th December 2025, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar reached out with compassion and purpose at Koomber Tea Estate by organizing a Family Planning Awareness Program aimed at nurturing healthier families and empowered communities. The enlightening session was beautifully led by Dr. Malabika Tiwari, MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology), and Dr. Juri Sarma, who sensitively spoke on family planning, reproductive health, and the importance of safe motherhood, touching lives with both knowledge and care. Adding to the impact, informative IEC leaflets on various family planning methods were distributed by Dr. Rajat Deb, helping participants make informed and confident choices for their future. The program stood as a heartfelt step towards awareness, dignity, and well-being—reflecting Rotary’s enduring commitment to service above self.
