With compassion and commitment to community service, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar successfully organized a Mega Cataract Screening Camp on 21.12.25 at 91 No. Rangti LP School, in collaboration with Jhalak Chakraborty FANS Club. The programme was enriched by an inspiring address from Mr. Jhalak Chakraborty. More than 75 beneficiaries were screened, and 13 patients were identified as needing cataract surgery. Upholding the true spirit of Rotary, our club pledged to provide their surgery completely free of cost, offering them a renewed vision and a brighter future. The camp was graciously led by Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, with the presence and support of Club Secretary Rtn. Abhijit Paul, Club Surgeon & ARMS Rtn. Rohan Yadav, Rtn. Subhas Dhar, and other esteemed Rotarians. A heartfelt step towards service above self, lighting lives through the gift of sight.
