With a heartfelt commitment to community well-being, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar successfully organized an NCD (Non-Communicable Disease) Screening Camp at Ithkhala on 21st December 2025, in association with the RSS Development Committee, Ithkhala. The programme was graciously led by our Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, with the encouraging presence of Past President Rtn. Pinak Pani Nath, Rtn. Arijit Biswas, Rtn. Shoumyojit Biswas, and other esteemed Rotarians. More than 45 beneficiaries were screened for diabetes (CBG testing) and hypertension, emphasizing the importance of early detection and preventive healthcare. The camp proved impactful as 5 individuals were newly detected with diabetes and 3 with hypertension, enabling timely medical guidance and care. This initiative reflects Rotary’s unwavering dedication to healing, hope, and healthy communities, one life at a time.
