With deep respect and gratitude towards our farmers, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar celebrated Kisan Diwas on 23.12.2025 at Singhari, in association with the Singhari Development Committee, embracing the vision of “Empowering Annadatas.” The programme was enriched by a very beautiful and impactful address delivered by Mr. Jhalak Chakraborty, Vice President, BJP Cachar, who inspired and motivated the farming community. As a gesture of support and care, the club donated urea, sprayers, and various types of seeds etc. to the farmers, strengthening their journey towards sustainable agriculture. The event was gracefully led by our Club President Rtn. Dr. Rajat Deb, with remarkable initiative and dedication by Rtn. Raja Bhattacharjee, whose efforts ensured the programme’s success.
