Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of India, aimed at ending child marriage and safeguarding the rights, health, and future of children. The 1st Phase (4th December to 31st December 2025) emphasizes awareness and community-level action through grassroots engagement. Marking this national mission in a unique and impactful way, the Rotary Club of Greater Silchar proudly observed the 1st Phase of Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat by organizing a dedicated awareness programme for ASHA and ANM workers of Urban BPHC, along with a powerful short drama against child marriage. This thoughtful initiative, jointly performed by RC Greater Silchar members and Urban BPHC staff, stands as a distinctive Rotary effort—transforming awareness into emotion, and emotion into action—towards building a child marriage–free India and protecting the dreams of every child and building a stronger India. 🌼
